Chief Operations Officer Sarah Newton

Sarah has been with Slagle Financial since 2008 and currently serves as chief operations officer. She turns the firm’s vision into reality by working closely with the leadership team, building strong internal structures and creating a positive and hardworking company culture. She is passionate about overseeing smooth day-to-day operations, always putting the needs of clients and team members first.
Before joining the financial industry, Sarah worked for a Ford dealership for 10 years, where she gained substantial operational and management experience. Although she entered the financial services sector by chance, Sarah quickly developed a passion for connecting with clients and their families while helping them live out their dream retirements.
Sarah lives in Edwardsville, Illinois, with two dogs and her husband of over two decades, Greg. Together, they have a son, Tanner, and 2 grandsons, Reese and Romen. Outside of the office, Sarah can be found exploring functional health and holistic wellness and spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking, camping and practicing archery.
